The story takes a lot to wrap your brain around at times there is so much to it. There are a couple of wicked twists, one that is hinted at earlier in the book but once you see it come into play, it tends to make your heart break even more. They all have so much trauma, some shared, some uniquely their own. You feel for them and all the pain they go through. Having said all that, this book is one that you keep turning the pages because you have to know how Jack, Jan, and Gray try to work through things.
